HAIR JOURNEY W/ AFRO BOUTIQUE So this is my second month doing my hair with @tumelomjs_afroboutique and let me tell you, I’m EmBarrazzed because having your braids on for more than four weeks is DANGEROUS! As that can lead to damaged hair which would mean we are working backwards. So Tumi got me onto an Intensive Repair Treatment so we can move in progression. Today, I just wanted a simple hairstyle, Straightback cornrows. This time around, I got the Midas touch from the pioneer of Afro Boutique, Tumi. Love her to bits! 🤍🫂 She got to educate me on my hair, making sure that I not only get a fresh hairdo but that I also learn how to love my curls. I’m learning how much of a confidence boost one’s hair is. It has taken me time to love my hair and to care for it. It’s your crown. So one day, I will grow into my feminine energy and wear my crown with pride. Thank you so much to @tumelomjs_afroboutique for the love and care. You are angels.🤍 (Fun Fact: I met Tumi on the set of The Brave Ones as a hairstylist. She used to style my hair every day that I was on set.
