Swarnaa Rajalingam Instagram – It has always been a dream of mine to have my own space, my own vanity and office. Working with @design.m.studio made that dream more in reach as she helped me take a room we had in our home pull elements from my Pinterest boards and visually depict how it would all look functionally. She was so detail oriented, understood my needs and even put together a list of where to purchase each item with links. We’ve been sitting on these illustrations for over a year and I never got around to purchasing everything and bringing it to life. As my birthday gift this year, @apollos_fitness surprised me with a whole room makeover. He found the images and used it as reference, purchased everything, secretly put it together (that week we were at my parents place so I didn’t suspect anything) and then put his own spin. I love that he included the dark skin goddess illustrations from @uma.jeyaseelan a project I collaborated with her on that’s very dear to me, the @swanathelabel LED sign and the add of touch with his choice in decor pieces. I know it was a massive labour of love and I couldn’t be more grateful for this space. More than the material aspect of this room it’s special to have a space of my own to walk into to do all the things that I love which is content creation, working on my business, my full time job and have a dedicated space to do my makeup and get ready. I can’t explain the sheer joy and gratitude I feel and I cannot wait to create more content for you guys so stay tuned ❤️ . Love you @apollos_fitness 🥹
