Zoe Lister-Jones Instagram – Words can’t describe what it meant to be at the Independent Spirit Awards. It has been a life long dream of mine to be nominated by @filmindependent and to have that dream not only come true, but to be recognized for Slip, a series so personal to me, it’s just so deeply affirming, as an artist, and as a human.
It’s been a long and beautiful journey with Slip but also one rife with heartache. Roku removed the show from its platform four months after premiering it, so this celebration was bittersweet. I can only hope this is not an ending but a beginning. That we can find another home for our beautiful baby. In the meantime I am just so grateful to have been given the incredible support of my community and to have a day to celebrate all we have worked so hard to accomplish. ❤️
