Alan Shearer Instagram – Sweet treats for Volunteer Week
We surprised Peter – one of our longest serving volunteers – with a box of chocolates and a card to say thank you for his many years as one of our fantastic volunteers.
Peter began volunteering in the gardens at our Alan Shearer Centre when it opened in 2007 and has been helping out ever since.
As well as sharing his green fingered talents, Peter is always willing to offer an extra pair of hands in the Centre when we hold our special events.
A huge thank you to Peter and every one of our volunteers – each and every one of you is making a world of difference to people using our services.
