Emily (@axepersonified) creates amazing Muppets replicas. She asked which one I would want, and I thought about the Newsman, Reporter Kermit, and of course, Super Grover. But in the end, she bestowed upon me Sesame Street’s original detective, Sherlock Hemlock. Perfect.
Who’s your favorite muppet?
The Muppets mean a lot to me. My mom and I used to watch the Muppet Show together every Monday night, and we later bonded over Emmet Otter when Dad was in the hospital over Christmas.
Sherlock was voiced by the great Jerry Nelson, who also was The Count, Lew Zealand (the most deranged muppet in history) and Emmet himself.
