Months and months of preparation have finally brought us to this point. Just a few days ago, we wrapped principal photography on one of the most important stories I’ve ever had the privilege of telling. To say that getting to this point was easy would be a bald-faced lie. We faced just about every obstacle one can imagine, from funding issues to locations and actors dropping out at the last minute. Even some of our closest friends and family unknowingly planted doubts in our minds. But one of the biggest challenges was the deafening sound of self-doubt that persisted throughout the journey. ‘What if we fail? What if nobody watches? Am I the right person to tell this story?’ These were only a fraction of the thoughts that passed through my mind during the pre-production stage. The reality is, if it was solely up to me, I probably would have talked my way out of following through with telling this story. Fortunately, I was surrounded by some of the best producing partners one could ever ask for. Thank you to @jazminlarracuente, @rosamxo, @jake.ambrose, and @kellylamorwilson for your commitment and dedication to telling this story in the most responsible, raw, and honest way possible. This truly was a team effort, and I couldn’t be prouder of you all. Last but not least, thank you to each and every cast and crew member for gracing us with four days of your time and energy. I had the absolute honor and privilege of working with some of the most talented, professional, and down-to-earth people I’ve ever met. Some were friends we’ve worked with in the past, and others were new to our circle, but it didn’t take long for everyone to feel like family. To anyone who aspires to be a filmmaker but is constantly met with feelings of self-doubt, or others instilling their own fears onto you, my advice to you is this: protect what’s yours and don’t be afraid to share your truth with the world. Everyone has a story, and we all deserve for it to be told. 📸 @noahasanias
