David Göttler Instagram – This one is a bit different. I want to share which features of my COROS Vertix 2S I really use and find helpful on expedition.
The first one is Resting Heart Rate. I use this as an extra data point when assessing how I am feeling. It’s a good indicator that helps me to know when I can push harder and when I should slow down. The number reflects how well I’m adapting to the altitude and if my body is struggling with a bug or a virus. I may think I’m doing great, but if my resting HR is elevated beyond what it should be, it makes me stop and think and reconsider.
