Eddie Alvarez Instagram – Good morning !!! Having Coffee with one of my 4 Super hero’s , he’s cutting his last 2 pounds . I’m Reflecting on the idea of giving our sons and daughters the “things “ we never had .The problem with this is the “things “ I gained in my life were no more than a by product of my own willingness to sacrifice and suffer and contribute . Handing over “things “ to my children with no conversation or lesson would be the simplest,easiest, laziest thing I could do as their Dad . I didn’t sacrifice and suffer so that my sons won’t . Suffering is coming for us all , my kids and yours , it is undeniable. I’d like to think that I suffered so that I can make my families suffering slightly more comfortable ,bearable , and dare I say , Enjoyable 😀. The earlier we can introduce our young men and women to adversity, delayed gratification, followed by crazy support and love , the better off we all are .
