It’s like watching water boil. You seem to be getting somewhere, but you never get “it”. Those moments of genius, of play and of actual creation. They don’t happen…
Blocked by your head. Overthinking. Trying to hard. Gripping the wheel too stiff. The mind is in full control.
Your heart won’t dare to come out in those moments. Or at least mine won’t, it feels like it will get torn to bits by my mind, my head, my masculine.
In business it’s particularly tough. Because it’s so “heady” it’s so “strategic” and “logical”.
In conversation we spoke about business planning, intention, the where things come from, the why they need to happen, the how we will create them.
We spoke again and again about drawing from both the mind and the heart, the masculine and the feminine. Trusting them both and our predisposition to one or the other.
It’s funny how you have to let go to get more sometimes.
