Daughter to Gulshan and Kallirroi, mother to Freddy, Io, Batman, Ginger Singh and Einstein.
As of 9:21am our baby Ira has been set free. It’s just two weeks of her being visibly unwell. The doctors struggled to diagnose her because her cancer did not go by the book. We started chemotherapy but she showed a rapid decline.
One week after we returned from our wedding, she followed me up the stairs asking for food. She was skinny and very very pregnant. That day she chose us to be her parents. Since then she has given us countless moments of joy, comfort, laughter and unconditional love. Through her children she gave joy to three more households.
These words are not nearly enough to contain the truth of our experience with her.
She was beautiful to look at, but her heart was incomparable. She knew everything and she forgave everything and she loved everything. She has been the glue and the matriarch of our family. She gave and gave until the very end. Puzoo, the OG, patataki, mooshmini, cheeksmin, main girl we will remember you every day. We will keep looking for you. Today we are fractured.
