Guy Oseary Instagram – This morning, I woke up to the news that four hostages have been rescued: Shlomi Ziv, Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Noa Argamani.
Since October 7, Noa has been my profile photo. I promised not to change it until she came back home. Noa was kidnapped from the Nova music peace festival, where over 350 innocent lives were brutally massacred. Her last, desperate words on video as she was dragged away by pure evil were: “Please don’t kill me.”
I’ve written about Noa many times and have had the privilege of spending time with her parents, Liora and Yaakov. Today, I believe, is her father’s birthday. What an unimaginable and precious birthday gift—to finally have his daughter back after eight long months of captivity. This picture says it all. ❤️
Noa was immediately taken to Ichilov Hospital to see her dying mother. This is the same hospital where my own mother passed away just four weeks ago. I was planning to surprise my mother that week, but I missed seeing her one last time by only five days. While my heart still hurts from the loss of my mother, the thought that Noa will not miss the opportunity to be with her mother brings me some comfort. I was worried this day would never come but never gave up hope. I will also never give up hope for peace. Not just in my lifetime but in the very near future.
