Hill Harper Instagram – This past weekend I went to see, support and help folks who were homeless. Joining a group of amazing brothers volunteering to help families that had their water shut off.
And we met Tristan, a determined young man battling homelessness, hunger, and addiction. He needs our help. His resilience reminds us of the urgent support needed for the unhoused here in Michigan and across the country. As a U.S. Senator, I propose aggressive legislation to tackle our unhoused crisis, improve mental health services, and combat addiction. My initiatives would include comprehensive housing-first programs, expanded mental health facilities, and robust recovery support services. Together, we can turn compassion into action and ensure no one is left behind.
