The Sammy D Foundation is now tackling violence from the ground up with extensive education programs across schools. Research shows that bullies are far more likely to commit violence when they’re older. As a kid who was bullied at school I suspect the reverse; that children who are bullied are more likely to accept violence and abuse from their partner. As an ambassador for Domestic Violence Awareness Foundation in Australia I’m proud to remind you that today is LGBTQ Domestic Violence Awareness Day. I always love spending a weekend at home and time was extra special as my family celebrating loved ones who’ve passed and I became a great uncle just this weekend!
