The book is a narrative history of how anti-Black racist ideas were created, spread, and deeply rooted in society. Focusing on the producers of racist ideas (rather than the consumers), STAMPED shows that these ideas were produced, not out of ignorance and hate, but to justify racist policies and normalize resulting racial inequity and injustice.
I am proud of this new edition. Striking cover. Clearer writing. Cleaned up bad word choices and typos. A revamped and hugely expanded notes section.
