I worked with the celebrated cartoonist and historian, @joelchristiangill, to create this informative, engaging, and snarky graphic history of racist ideas.
Across time and space, anti-Black racist ideas have manipulated people into believing that there’s something wrong with Black people; into believing that the racial problem is Black people. Racist ideas have covered up the actions of racist power, defended the cruelty of racist terror, and normalized the inequitable and unjust effects of the structure of racist policies and practices.
