Thank you to the @criticschoice for honoring @werehere! I would love to dedicate this honor to all the countless heroes that have shared their stories with us as well as the world and go on a journey of self discovery, honesty, love and healing through the art of drag. And specifically, the two most amazing spirits that I got the chance to know in Murfreesboro, @maleeka_maupin and @bradfordloomis. As well as our team, out there with us collecting what the world looks like in real time (all the danger, the tears and the joy) Thank you for enriching my life. ♥️ I can’t say how happy and proud I am of We’re Here and the way it’s already transforming lives but what it can do for the fight we have ahead. Having this show recognized in a room full of people doing so much positive for this community and sooo many I look up too, will always be something I treasure, not to mention having it presented by @charlizeafrica!!!!
