Jeremy Fish Instagram – On Tuesday May 28th I began a month long Artist In Residence project with @sfgiants in the Cloud Club section of @oraclepark I will be in the ballpark for a total of 19 games working on a series of drawings, and hand painting some balls and bats that were used by the team. You can visit the space with tickets to the Cloud Club, or by taking the Oracle Park tour.
So far it has been an surreal experience to work around so many baseball fans, and to feed off of the energy of the game while I draw. My father and my grandfather Fish both tried out to play for the NY Yankees, and they would have been so proud to see me in this crazy major league opportunity where sport merges with art.
Huge thanks to the San Francisco Giants and their amazing staff for creating this project for me, showing just how special and unique this baseball team and our city really are.
