Jim Newman Instagram – Happy Fathers Day! Opening night at Steel Pier on Broadway. It was my first Original a Broadway Cast, my 1st Principle contract, my first cast album, my first Tony awards and Kristen Chenoweth played my wife (her Broadway debut) and Deb Monk played my love interest and my Dad, my biggest cheerleader, was there for this and more importantly all the regional shows and the shitty off- off Broadway shows and there floating me a little money for a few weeks for rent until I could pay him back that led to this career changing moment!
