It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years today since #WorldWarZ came out. I was fortunate to be able to write the score to this hard charging classic. I was also very fortunate to be able to make the acquaintance of the amazing @joeperryofficial of the bands @aerosmith and the @hollywoodvampires while working on it.
There are always conceptual ideas that you work through that never quite make it into the movie. This cue is one such. I had a blast hanging with Joe at my studio and coming up with this piece alongside Buck Sanders. This track also features the fantastic @lilihaydn on electric violin and vocals.
Ultimately the score in the film is more orchestral so its understandable why this wasn’t used. Even so, it was really fun writing and putting this together. Maybe we can use it in the sequel? @paramountpics @kraftengelmanagement
