Josh Groban Instagram – On the day of our first preview Tommy Kail said in one of his perfect pep talks that (paraphrasing) “as hard as it is to imagine today, one day this show will load out of here and our time in this space will be finished, so take it all in and enjoy each moment of growth within these walls”. Sweeney Todd at the Lunt did everything we could have hoped and dreamed and more. We grew and grew. In ourselves, in our performances, in our audiences, in our love for Sondheim and his work…we grew endlessly and will continue to because of what we all got to share in there. I love this cast and crew and staff beyond measure and I’m wishing them a beautiful final bow today. A new show will come and fill the space with hope and nerves and stories and tears and joy.
