Joshua Grannell Instagram – This is from a movie that I wrote and directed that’s currently being featured on @shudder. It was the VERY FIRST scene we shot for the entire movie! I will never forget it. And the fire behind @nlyonne wasn’t planned until I saw the owner of the restaurant cooking during a scout and he had some flames going while cooking. I spoke with the late, great Director of Photography, Tom Richmond, and he agreed it would look great. We had a P.A. hide under the counter that I would radio to and he’d squeeze chef Henry’s ankle so that Henry knew when to make the flames go up. I’ll remember this day forever!
