Karl Urban Instagram – Thrilled to be part of the @aventuurco team that are working to bring this amazing world class Surf park to Auckland New Zealand – the Wavegarden Cove proposed for Auckland has entered the final stage of consent. Designed with a strong focus on sustainability, the project will feature a 56-module Wavegarden integrated into the Dairy Flat landscape to embrace the area’s rural aesthetic. It will showcase high-performance sports and leisure facilities, eco-cabins, lodging, a farm-to-table restaurant, public amenities, a solar farm, and a pioneering data center. In a world-first initiative, excess heat from the data center, which is powered by renewable energy, will be used to maintain the lagoon’s water at the perfect temperature for optimal surfing conditions throughout the year.
