Kraig Adams Instagram – This July, I hiked 20 miles on the Howe Sound Crest Trail just outside Vancouver in Canada. The entire middle section is a ridge walk that gives you constant views of the waters below. Wild camp in your tent overnight to watch the sunset over the mountains on the horizon. Early Summer means bugs so make sure to keep moving or they’ll drive you crazy. Passing through the Lions section is a bit difficult with constant changes in elevation. I melted snow from some remaining patches to make coffee and passed a few emergency shelters.
