Kyle Chalmers Instagram – Dream come true.. Absolutely stoked to have qualified for my 3rd Olympic team last night. Was definitely one of the harder races I’ve ever had to swim, blew my back out 10 days ago which required 4 cortisone injections into my spine. So rehabbing/managing/trying to stay calm through this period has been really stressful and challenging for me. On top of that, I was also lucky enough to score a chest infection 🤣. Anyway.. no Raceday is ever going to be perfect. I’m really grateful these challenges came my way and allowed me the opportunity to work through them and rise above. Gives me a lot of confidence moving forward that no matter what happens my body and my mind are so powerful and can overcome anything. Once I dive into that pool, everything is pushed aside and it’s all about getting my hand on the wall the fastest. Thank you all that have supported me and helped me achieve this monumental goal! I am forever grateful to be sharing this journey with you all.
