Lee Daniels Instagram – I saw a doc recently that said, “Democrats lose elections and they’re sad. Republicans lose elections and they get mad — and when they’re mad, there’s payback”. Well, as a proud Democrat, I’m mad as hell about our most recent election. Democrats need to vote and we’re not voting. The Republicans are coming back because WE ARE NOT VOTING!
Last night @gloriasteinem and I hosted a fundraising event for @mmkenyatta. He is running for senate in Pennsylvania. To my knowledge, he is the first openly gay man (let alone black) that’s ever run. I am so proud of him as he comes from the same hood I come from in Philly. I love what he stands for, what he believes in and what he’s going to do. He has raised to date 1.2 million for our campaign BUT THAT IS NOT ENOUGH. To help out please click on the link in bio!
