Mad Mike Instagram – Wild that I’ve had this helmet as a trophy from @redbull for winning the @formuladjapan Championship back in 2018 and I’ve never even worn this skid lid but it’s been the pride of display for many years however today I felt it was definitely worth strapping it on for our first shakedown of our @mclaren #MADMAC on track. This lid’s art work is made up of all the things that inspire me from Japan on one side and New Zealand on the other… Clearly Bruce McLaren is forefront of it all being a true Kiwi legend so it was an epic feeling to have him ride with me today in our screaming creation of a Mclaren.
