But most importantly, love yourself. At the end of the video I mention if you don’t have a romantic love in your life, to love yourself. Fuck that, I also should have said that even if you do have a romantic love in your life to still love yourself! You know how on the plane, in the case of an emergency if the oxygen masks pop down you are instructed to put your mask on first before helping someone else? It’s the same with self love. We can’t be good for anyone else if we don’t fully love ourselves-brokenness, faults, and all. And don’t get it twisted, loving ourselves does not mean excusing the things we know we need to work. Loving ourselves is not beating ourselves up as we love ourselves enough to do the actual self work. Celebrate love. Celebrate you.
