Marques Brownlee Instagram – The most dangerous thing about the Cybertruck isn’t the pointy corners. It isn’t the blind spots or the blinding glare off the stainless steel in the sun or the way the front trunk closes. No. The most dangerous thing about the Cybertruck is how it makes everyone else around you on the road behave 😭 I’ve seen people accelerate and cut people off to get a video of the truck on their phone WHILE driving. I’ve seen people stop in the middle of a one way street to take a picture of it parked. I’ve seen people wobble around in their lane and damn near leave the road trying to get their phone out of their pocket as it passes by. I pulled into an intersection once and two kids in bikes straight up biked into the middle of the intersection to get a nice snap of it. I have hundreds of sentry mode clips of more – people looking inside, stopping in their tracks – probably 75% in awe and 25% in disgust lol. The Cybertruck is – at least right now – a celebrity. No idea how long this will be true or how long until they’re mass produced and everywhere in the road and this all wears off. But what I can tell you today is if you don’t like attention… if you don’t want a conversation EVERY time you park… if you don’t want EVERYTHING you do on the road recorded… don’t get a Cybertruck 😅
