Martin Scurll Instagram – I was very fortunate yesterday to spend some time with one of my all-time faves, the legendary Stan ‘The Lariat’ Hansen.
Having spent at least the last decade or so wrestling ‘abroad’ or at least away from home, I’ve always been totally inspired by talents like Hansen, an American who primarily wrestled in Japan. A country many of you may have first discovered me wrestling in, and where I’ve had many of my career highlights. I think it’s no secret to people how much I love Japan 🇯🇵🙌
You may also know how I am obsessed with wrestling history. To sit there and listen to Stan freaking Hansen tell stories about his favourite Brits 🇬🇧 like ‘Super Destroyer’ Pete Roberts, ‘Lord’ Alfred Hayes and the Dynamite Kid was truly something I will cherish forever. Feeling truly blessed today 🙏
Stan couldn’t have been nicer and more giving with his time. What a bad ass!
