Happy birthday @willospreay. Congrats on another year (Yes I’m aware I spent many of those years trying to break you) Let’s do this again someday 🤝 #villain ☔️
RIP John, Bad Bones. The wrestling world is heartbroken today with the news. John was always so, so kind to me. I can’t believe it. John and I shared such a cool moment together when we did a title match for Unlimited Wrestling in Germany. One of my favourite matches. Afterwards John thanked me so much, and told me that he really wished what was best for me. It was just a really sincere moment/interaction, and something I’ll never forget. A connection you can have with someone only through wrestling. My thoughts are with John’s family, friends and fans 💔 We will all miss you ❤️ Rest in peace brother 🙏
May is mental health awareness month. I’ve spoken before on this platform about wanting to end the stigma of mental health, extend support to those around me, and prioritise the well-being of individuals and families affected by mental health. When I use the word ‘stigma’, to me that means individuals not being comfortable opening up about their mental health, which I have for many years been guilty of myself. I can’t count the amount of times I’ve answered ‘I’m fine’ when I was not. Having dealt with depression, anxiety and ptsd, the one thing that helped and improved it was finally opening up about it, talking to friends, family and professionals. Not to say that I don’t still deal with it from time to time, but this for sure has helped me get through some of the toughest times and struggles. Other ways I like to combat mental health issues other than talking to loved ones – exercise, good sleep hygiene, eating real food, reading, practicing gratitude, getting sun, jiu jitsu, writing, walking, playing with the pups, limiting screen time (and social media, ironically), eliminating drink & drugs, and avoiding toxic people. I’m not suggesting these things will work for everyone, but if you’re reading and you struggle with mental health, certainly give these things a try and see if they work for you. To all my followers and people who support me, thank you from the bottom of my heart, I love you, and hope you all have a beautiful day. Please remember, we are stronger together! ❤️
