Author of seven New York Times best-selling books, Dr. Dyson is a global academic, ordained Baptist minister, media personality, and winner of numerous prestigious awards and accolades including the 2020 Langston Hughes Medal, an American and Southern Book Award, and two NAACP Image Awards. Dyson is currently a Centennial and Distinguished University Professor in both the College of Arts and Science and The Divinity School at Vanderbilt University.
