My heart is especially with you who are lonely and in despair, for whom Christmas can be very difficult to bare. Don’t give up hope! You are not alone!
I’m also thinking of all you who have to work in hospitals, nursing homes, orphanages, emergency services, public transport etc. thank you for your selfless service!
My prayers for peace and humanitarian help are particularly with everyone in the war zones and places of conflict, with the refugees, the homeless and all those suffering from injustice, hunger and poverty 🙏🏻❤️ 🕊️
On this Christmas Eve, as I’m hearing Katie Melua’s rendition of my favorite Christmas song “O Holy Night” on repeat, I contemplate what the little Baby who was born in a manger 2000 years ago started. “The biggest man you’re ever going to see was once a baby“, said Bob Marley.
Until today, millions of people on all continents of this earth, stop everything for a few days, in order to “try” to give their best to one another.
What a revolution of love!
