Mohammed Marouazi Instagram – When I watch such movies, all I have to do is close my eyes and I am transported to my own Morocco – the Morocco of my childhood, so well depicted and filmed by Izza Génnini, a great documentary filmmaker who was able to capture important moments of an entire generation in the 70s and 80s. Despite difficult years, finding time to dance, have fun, and live in peace, living together was in our DNA. Nowadays, with the invasion of what we use to communicate, our traditions risk fading away. It is up to us to keep alive what is in the image, the history, and the passion for living, so that future generations can know that we and our ancestors lived in peace and love for others, regardless of their connection to God or to human beings.
