I hear it from even well meaning people – “it feels like everyone is gaaaay and pride is tooo much”
everyone is gayyyy because it’s finally not as scary as it was to come out. Just think of that fireman story from a few days ago …
But now that I live in a city/state that ACTIVELY tries and LEGISLATES to ban the pride flag in schools (not G U N S of course) …. I can feel the sharp difference between a city that embraces difference and one that doesn’t.
Nothing is perfect. It’s not about that.
But does it hurt to allow for all these kinds of expression? No. I think it makes an economy stronger to have fully expressed individuals. I’m not an economist so don’t quote me. If you are … are there any studies that look at the economic impact of a fully expressed society?
I’m ranting. But I’m hoping for a world of color.
