There’s a lot of “issues” to think about. And a lot of hurt. But today I got to see the Office of Gun Violence Preventing in action. And I feel a lot of HOPE for the people working to make gun violence a thing of our past.
It’s an office created by @joebiden and his administration. @theactionjackson and Rob Wilcox lead this team with support from the @vp
What you have here is people across political spectrums coming together because @march_fourth_ brought us together.
That’s hard to do in this world of pointing fingers.
But sometimes the best work happens in the uncomfortable spaces and I think this is important to think about.
I want this office to continue. I want this work to keep going. It’s one of the many reasons I will support Joe Biden in this election.
And I feel honored I got to sit and hear more directly from the people who are walking this walk.
