Nina West Instagram – I don’t know where to begin other than to say that I really love doing what I do. Last week I found myself in Seattle collaborating with The Seattle Men’s Chorus, and what a dream it was. Actually, this process began almost a year ago, when Artistic Director Paul Caldwell and director Rand Ringgenberg reached out to me to dream up a show together. It would be our second time working together (the first during the pandemic when the SMC presented their holiday show in a streaming version) and the show would focus on the joy and hope that drag provides to the world. The show was a hit. A bonafide hit. But aside from that, the experience was everything you could really ever hope for…
Thank you Paul, Rand, and Craig for bringing me in for this show, allowing me to share my art with you and to be so immensely impacted by the work you do. Thank you to the team of people who worked to make the magic happen and pull this show together – from Nancy, Lizzy, Kurt, Peter, Johnny, Michael, Jerbarco, Doris, Julie, Freedom, Ada, the band, the Dream Team – Michael and Mark, and everyone behind the scenes!
