Proud nerd here. Major geek. And I am really amped that I got to do this runway the way I did it, all Haunted Mansion inspired! There is something about the great storytelling behind Disney’s Haunted Mansion. It’s that @waltdisneyimagineering 🪦 From the start of the queue all the way through to the very last step outside of the attraction, the story of Gracey Manor and its inhabitants has been one that has fascinated me for years. And in this runway, I got to bring to life my own ghost bride.
First, I should say, when we were given the prompt of “Widow, Weep For Me” – the name of the 1st episode in the second season of Murder, She Wrote, my mind when to a Jessica Fletcher inspired runway look, but my heart went to this Haunted Mansion story. In her earthly existence, Beth Knell was addicted to getting married. But what to do with all those husbands she was collecting? Don’t axe me! 🪓That secret is buried deep! But I think I hear wedding bells…again! 🔔💍
