my birthday is always so strange to me because the anniversary of my dad’s passing is on 5/13. this time is always the confrontation of life and death within the same week for me. but with it i continue to realize and experience how grateful i am to still be alive, carrying on his legacy and becoming the man i was always destined to be. better every year.
