Rankin Instagram – I’ve been honoured to meet some of the great and good across music for @Dazed. I always push people to show me something about themselves — to be more than just surface. However, musicians seem to have that instinct already built in. Whether it’s because they bare their souls through their music or are used to being on stage, they possess an openness that invites exploration. A musician will always come ready to play. That’s why I’ve always liked putting musicians on the covers of my magazines.
My exhibition, Back in the Dazed (1991-2001) show is open until 23rd June at @180.studios, London, WC2R 1EA. Open: Wednesday – Friday 12pm-7pm Saturday – Sunday 10am – 6pm
