Whether you’re a fan, non fan or hater deep down you gotta admit to see someone start from scratch, have a goal, reach that goal and be able to make a living off of a goal that they once only dreamed of is pretty freaking cool.
Yeah this post is about Sodiq but it applies to anyone that has a big dream and actually reaches it.
Most won’t due what it takes to reach their dream of whatever it may be.
Some wont even try for fear of failure!
Others crack at the first sign of adversity.
Then you have the do nothing trolls that plague every sport NFL, NBA, UFC the list goes on and on.
When you see an athlete succeed with all of the obstacles they have in front of them and keep smiling it’s a breath of fresh air.
At 18 Sodiq came to the school with one goal and that was to fight in the ufc.
Six years later he gets a contract from Dana White.
Under two years becomes a ranked ufc fighter.
Gets to fight in a ufc co- main and main event.
Sodiq has been in the ufc for 6 years and this weekend gets to be a part of UFC History by being on what is being Called the biggest Card ever in UFC 300
From being a fan to having fans and he’s still a smiling fan!❤️

If you have a Dream, don’t let anyone stop you from reaching it, find coaches and mentors that have a proven track record of helping others reach the same goal as you have, be consistent over the long run and do not let bumps in the road discourage you.
