Overshoot is a song about love in a long-term relationship and about how it changes its shape as life goes on. Inevitably, a destructive part of you longs to see what lies outside the world you’ve built, but if you’re able to recognise the profound qualities of having lived, learned and grown together, you appreciate what a rare thing you have.
