Tom Green Instagram – Today I am thinking about my great uncle Daniel Green who died in world war 2 on Christmas Eve 1943 at 24 years old and is buried in Casino Italy. A young Canadian soldier and member of The Devils Brigade he was honoured recently with a reservoir named after him in Saskatchewan Canada not far from his home town, The Daniel Green reservoir. He was my father’s uncle. My grandfathers brother. May he rest in peace. Please take a moment today to think about all those who died in WW2 defending our freedom.
