Thrice a week during high school, my friends and I – hardcore but blissfully unaware medical aspirants – would spend the day at coaching classes in Basavanagudi. Much fun was had doing high school things again – roaming around Gandhi Bazaar, Vidyarthi Bhavan dose/filter coffee, speaking Kannada after a whole year (it’s gotten quite bad).
