Vivian Dawson Instagram – This was the most overworked I’d ever been. I was filming a TV drama in Beijing from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., then heading straight to the airport and flying to Shanghai to film the villain role in this movie. I only got the script for the first time on the two-hour flight. So I didn’t have time to rest and was busy cramming lines. Upon arriving in Shanghai, I had to go straight to the set to get my hair, makeup, and wardrobe done, and then straight to filming. I wrapped at 4 a.m. and then had to go straight back to the airport to fly back to Beijing to continue filming the TV drama. Again, I got the script for the day’s scenes on the flight for the first time, so I couldn’t sleep; I had to learn my lines. We do up to about 16 scenes a day, and as a lead role, I was in most of them. After getting to the set, it was another 12-hour day. At that point, I hadn’t slept at all in 36 hours and felt like I was at the end of my rope. I did this for the entire filming of this movie. 😴 🥵 😵
