Warren Brown Instagram – Little trip down memory lane last night watching the boxing at The Halls Wolverhampton, with me old mate and fellow former World Champion @petecrooke_
We both had numerous fights there, many moons ago. Most notable for me were winning British and Commonwealth Titles (1997)
Amongst Crooke’s many fights and titles won there, was one against Thai legend @sakmongkolkalek
The venue has recently been refurbished but the atmosphere in there was just as I remembered… incredible! With most of the noise last night coming courtesy of @adam.azim1 and local fighter @tyler_denny91 fans. Both fighters victorious in their European Title fights!
Old school nostalgia meant I missed @liambadco & @andybadco1 @hitman_fightleague show last night (another pair of fighters who fought at this venue back in’t day!)
Massive congratulations to @joe_craven & @lukeskywalkerwhelan who both won and respectively defended World Titles in London last night.
I miss those fighting days massively, I’m glad I had them and so grateful for the friends and memories made!
