Judo and Ju-jitsu were Russified and mixed with Russian Cossack martial arts called “The Steps” and this was mixed into again with all the martial arts within the nations that the Soviet Union was comprised of. I know what someone what a great BJJ opponent might try on me, I know what a Boxer might try on me but we have no idea what a good Sambist will do because there are countless variations of each move. BJJ is the anaconda and Sambo is the kraken. I love BJJ and started off with Royce Gracie and have trained privately with him when I was 8 and 16. For some reason Sambo had such an impact on me that I tattooed САМБО beside my left ear. I wouldn’t have done that if I wasn’t proficient at it.
Hopefully in the future we can arrange some new fights for me and perhaps monetize some fights between me and other notable people. Perhaps an internet troll or tabloid would sign a legal document to enter the ring with me. I’d happily do a 3 on 1 match with too.
