Happy Friday from Marlowe and her dad. Have a wonderful weekend, friends. 💜
Happy pride, nerds. I have discovered that Wesley Crusher was a bit of a gay icon in his day, and I love the thought that Wesley was able to help queer youth find themselves. Every purchase of these tees benefits @glsen, who are working toward creating safe and inclusive school environments for LGBTQ young people. I think Wesley would approve. Final days to get one! Twenty years ago — TWENTY. YEARS. AGO. — Anne and I did our first marathon together. #throwbackthursday
Happy World Goth Day to all who celebrate, especially my fellow Elder Ones.
Marlowe says she loves you. And also, if you happen to accidentally drop a little treat, she will pick it up so you don’t have to. Because she loves you. #MarloweMonday
She had SUCH a good weekend. #MarloweMonday

Concert date with my favorite human to see Elvis Costello and Darryl Hall.
Marlowe vigilantly stands watch, doing a heckin’ protect for her people, just in case the wind comes back. #MarloweMonday
My phone made me a collage of memories, just in time for #MarloweMonday.

Watson, keeping an eye on thing as he protects his big, dumb, incompetent humans, because he loves them so much, and they are so cute he can’t even stay mad at them for more than three or four days, on average.
Human R&B relations.
This is another one of my garden metaphors. Last summer, a volunteer sunflower showed up in the garden. As I do with all feral plants, I left it alone, but made sure it could grow and thrive. It did. When it finished growing, I collected its seeds, and spread some of them around the yard. Some of them grew into flowers, and I collected some of those seeds. This season, I put some of the newest seeds into my actual garden, and I have tended them with the rest of my plants. They have grown into this beautiful sunflower patch that attracts so many bees and other pollinators that are beneficial to our entire garden, as well as our local ecosystem in general. I will have hundreds of seeds when they are finished, all originating from a single seed I didn’t even plant, but cared for and gently supported until it was strong enough to bloom.
This morning’s bedhead hopes you have a joyful Sunday. WAIT LOL FRIDAY. Wow. This morning’s bedhead should have waited to drink its coffee before it posted. 😂
Hey Nerds! There is one week left to join the Officially Unofficial Wesley Crusher fan club! Head over to @shopstands to get yours. Every purchase supports @glsen!
This morning’s bedhead wishes you a joyful REAL Sunday, not one of those fake Sundays that was really a Friday.
This morning’s bedhead is having awesome coffee.
This is my haul from #freerpgday. There’s still time to hit up your friendly local gameshop to celebrate this hobby and community!
