The short answer is that it’s not a transcription.
We pretty much invented a service, and we call it an adaptation.
The truth is that written prowess is so different to spoken eloquence that it is a completely different package – while retaining the same meaning.
While lectures are always contextual and are tailored towards the listeners at the time, the goal was to make the book timeless.
