Yuji Hirayama Instagram – @hansflorine ハンスがそろそろ還暦を迎えると言うことで、共にコンペに出場したり、ヨセミテで時間を過ごした @mus_johan ヨハンと無計画で「ハンスに会いにヨセミテに行こう！！」と言うことになった。
まずは38年ぶりに1人でレンタカーを走らせヨセミテへ初めて入った道をマーセドからたどることから始まった。当時とほぼ同じ季節でのドライブで、乾き具合、木々の香り、目に入る景色などそのまま、ただ明らかに違うのは38年前はクライミングの夢を胸いっぱいに溜めた自分と、それなりに夢を全力でチャレンジした今の自分では感じ方が大きく変わっていて、公共バスで入った38年前、ガラス越しに現れる雑誌でしか観たことのない岩を観て声を上げていた自分を思いだした。
そんな自分がたどった、もう戻ることのできない時間を思いだすような旅になっている。
当時、過ごした仲間と再び時間を過ごし、忘れていた事が甦る、そんな時間を3日程過ごし、最高に楽しい✨✨✨
ハンス、ヨハンと共にどんな旅になるか楽しみ😆
@hansflorine Hans is about to turn 60, so @mus_johan Johan and I, who participated in competitions together and spent time in Yosemite, decided without any plan to go to Yosemite to see Hans!!
First, Driving a rental car alone I started by retracing the road from Merced that I first entered Yosemite 38 years ago. I drove in almost the same season as back then, and the dryness, the smell of the trees, the scenery I saw, etc. were the same, but what was clearly different was that 38 years ago, when I had my heart full of dreams about climbing, and now, I had challenged my dreams to do the best, my feelings have changed greatly. I remembered myself 38 years ago when I took a public bus and shouted out at the rocks that I’d only seen in magazines through the car window.
This trip that reminded me of the time I went through and can never go back.
It’s been a great time to spend time with the friends I spent back then and to remember things I had forgotten. It was a great time✨✨✨
I’m looking forward to what kind of trip it will be with Hans and Johan😆
