We are so proud to work with Zane Phillips, breakout gay actor and the very image of Achilles reborn, for Awe’s fourth running Pride campaign. Every year in June, we amplify our voices to celebrate unity, acceptance, and love in all its forms by depicting historical examples of queer love and shining light on those who deserve representation.
One of the most iconic ancient Greek heroes is a gay man.
The profoundly moving, dazzling and tragic love story of Achilles & Patroclus bloomed in the ancient world and spilled across a battlefield, transcending the boundaries of societal norms, tradition and even life itself.
